Tom- Thanks for the link. I hadnt read that article yet. Alain Depocas is one of the major researchers at Daniel Langlois Foundation and DOCAM here in Montreal. You can find more information on his research and writings at

If you click on the "Pedagogical activities" on the left hand bar you will find extensive web and book bibliography on issues of conservating media art. (In fact I am currently taking the 2007 seminar course at UQAM).
